Hello guys i need your help. This would be my first Deepsea and i have no idea what differences could be between an original and fake. Please take a look at the pictures and let me know what do you think.

WE DON'T DISCUSS FAKES HERE -

Move this to "Watchout!!" section.

No, no one said it was a fake but when someone puts up their watch like this, claiming they do not know, it always then leads to a discussion on fakes. THe op seems to inadvertantly be asking for diffs between genuine and fakes.

1. This is not yet my watch
2. When someone put up their watch like this probably means has no idea how a fake looks and just want to check it. Not all the people has your knowledge

You have perfectly legitimate issues and concerns, afterall, we are not talking about a g-shock here. Some serious $$ is going to trade hands. So the best way to alleviate our concerns would be to put it in the WATCHOUT!!! section. There we address these types of issues. We have more liberty there to discuss things there than on the forum here.

A box & card means that it's original for you? Not for me!

Make sure the serial matches the rehaut. Also, jump in the ocean and dive to 3900m. If the watch survives and doesn't implode, it's real :)

In all seriousness buy the seller. If you're serious about buying a DSSD, I would buy from a trusted seller right here on TRF. My 2 cents.

That's why we say BUY THE SELLER FIRST. Otherwise these doubts take form.

Then why take the chance? If you're not 1000% sure you're buying a genuine Rolex, then I would step back. Based on your post, you're not comfortable with the current situation correct?

You're right! I will ask the seller to take a few more pictures of the serial/rehaut and a closeup of the dial.

Alin....the pictures of the watch you posted appears to be indeed genuine...but what the seller actually sends you is another question.

FWIW: I like to speak in person to someone I'm doing a deal with (in fact I never do a deal without)....it's easy to be dishonest on the internet, but scammers have a way of revealing themselves in person/on the phone.
