This thread will give me inspiration in my quest to find the perfect faded FF insert for my 1680 and the very first pic from Fred is pretty much what I'm after along with David's first pic - those are stunning guys
What I certainly don't want is to take originality to the point of where the look of my watch is detracted by adding an insert which is cracked, dinged or dented, missing its pearl, has missing numerals or is faded beyond all legibility...I'd rather keep my service replacement and keep my watch looking sharp...JMHO |
