Day Date Story Latest
Hi Guys remember my Day Date story .
Well I loved it but was not comfortable wearing it , it just wasnt my style . I traded it for a BNIB SS ceramic sub and actually made a few pennies on the deal too . I have just enjoyed a lovely week in Tenerife with my wife wearing my new SS Sub and replaced the money that I took out of my savings , plus a few pence more . Plus I had the pleasure or wearing a Day Date for 4 weeks or so . Thanks for letting me share this little journey with you guys and who knows where the next Rolex journey will take me

May I ask why it wasn't comfortable?

Sorry to hear you flipped the Day-Date, it was such a fantastic watch! Still, if it doesn't suit you there's no point in keeping it. Congratulations on the deal and may you wear the newbie in good health!

Nice to hear an update, Gary! I'm sorry that the DD didn't work out for you, but you certainly sound happy now!
The Sub is a beauty and I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years to come! Plus you've 'scratched the DD itch' and know for sure that it wasn't the one for you. This hobby is all about figuring out which watch suits you best....glad you found yours!
