Icon14 Waited 3 months for this INCOMING but it's HERE!

I never knew random serial 114270 Explorer existed in this world. I used to own a V serial and thought that was the last of this classic, until I saw this for sale by "Kayaker (Paul)" here on TRF. Well it turns out these last series random issues never made it here to the US, and one was found in Hong Kong, and another in Canada. Never had I seen one for sale anywhere, and haven't see one since so I had to have this. While most don't care for serials, I like to own the last of any discontinued classics, especially BNIB. When I saw it, the watch was in Canada, so I finished the deal and waited patiently until Paul came to the USA for vacation to ship the piece domestically to me. It's here and I love it, unbelievably classic watch The old EXP is personally special to me because a few years ago this was the first watch to seriously catch my attention to Rolex. At the time, I was wearing a TAG Grand Carrera, and I just knew Rolex would be my ultimate aspiration after seeing Brad Pitt's Japanese ad from the 1990's featuring this watch. Today I own a lot of BNIB 16610, 16600, and 16610LV, but this and today may just be the most special!

Many congrats, Daniel. You are one of the few people I know that keep moderns watches absolutely unused, store for future museum pieces. Enjoy it!
