SS Submariner - no date - Is my budget do-able?

Hey RF! Long time Rolex fan but have yet to pull the trigger.

I was born in '84 and would love to have a 5513, but I believe that is out of my price range. I'm really not picky about series, but I would rather not have a ceramic bezel.

I'm looking to spend 3500-4000...is that reasonable or should I re-think my game plan?

I bought my 14060 for less than $3,500 a little over a year ago.

Good luck!

Your budget is very reasonable. Be patient and you'll find a nice in that range.

Very reasonable - especially if you're ok without box and or papers. Could still most likely find one with box and papers for that range.

I've been scouring eBay for the past few hours and it seems that there are several that meet my requirements, but I'm not in a rush.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, sounds very reasonable. You might want to consider a 16800, as the date feature is a useful item to have on your watch.

I sent you a PM with more information...

In your price range a very nice 14060 two liner should be no problem, and imo more practicle than a 5513 for daily wear.

Go to chrono24 then put in your model, country, watch condition and anything else you want.

Then sort by price. You will get an idea of how much you should be paying.

Not the price range that the OP is looking. Not even close.
