Why yes, that is a $40 (Bond) strap on an $8,000 watch (SubC)
Calling Mr. Pierce, calling Mr. Pierce: permission to join Nylon Nation?
This is the "official" movie-style Bond strap from Corvus: https://corvuswatch.com/index.asp?page=bond_moviestyle It's made in Britain and has a buckle with fabric-keeper (versus NATO style). The strap is definitely well-made, however I wish the nylon was just a bit thicker. I welcome any comments!

Love the watch/strap combo but I do not think the shirt is doing it any favours. I think you are losing the impact of the grey and red stripe against the brighter red and grey in the shirt. Go for the classic white cuff or bare arm and give the strap a chance to stand out, discretely of course.

It's funny you say that, as I actually wear my sleeves rolled up. I just put them down for the picture, in order to cover my unfortunately small wrists.

Rather small wrists than the suspicions aroused by overly thick wrists, Still I suppose it keeps your watch wound up!

5513 may be better for Moore era Bond but he always wore his on a bracelet and if you want authentic to the watch worn with that strap it's generally accepted that was a 6538.(donations gratefully received if anyone wants to help me fund one of THOSE!) Thanks to everyone else for your kind comments. One day I might dig out the White Dinner Jacket and ronson lighter, set it to the correct time and take a proper homage shot!

That was my big complaint w/ the Corvus woven nylon strap, too flimsy for a heavier watch....that's why I stick w/ Maratac brand woven nylon straps, they use a beefier fabric.

Is there excess "tail" with a nylon keeper (because on a nato you can fold it under the metal loop)?
