Rotation never works

I try to wear my 4 goodies in rotation but is now stuck with the nd for 50days. My wrist refuses to wear the rest. I think rotation is a myth.

As long as you are happy with the one on your wrist all is good. For me rotation works just fine.

Rotation does not have to be on any particular time table.

It's nice to have 4 to 5 to put on when the right occasion calls.

Sometimes I catch myself wearing one for 20 days, then rotate three others within 2 days...just depends.

Nice to have the 'rotation' for sure

Rotation works if you have a few watches....if you have Mike Wood quantities....impossible.

You also need the RIGHT watches. OP, sounds like you may need to trade out the rotation.

Sometimes gearing up for the day ahead in the am-autopilot, running-late, pre-coffee-mode can lead to making the easiest watch selection - yesterday's thats still sitting out, wound up, and good to go. Such is life..duh...

Have to disagree. If anything I don't know how you wear the same watch everyday for 50 days when you have other options. I know someone who successfully rotates between a £4,000 sub and a £50,000 Richard Mille so if he can rotate between those two I think it's crazy to say rotation "never" works.

No no, I get what the OP suggests. But IMHO he may be (just like I am) going thru a honeymoon face.
But I agree that one watch cant cover all situations.

Rotation is tough... I'm also stuck on the GMTIIC for a while now.

X 2......Except I don't think it's a phase when it has been going on for over a year.

I am done with rotation. Sold 3, 2 to go & then left with my original first purchase nearly 20 yrs ago, a 16570 black, the only reference for me.

I usually do a week at a time, that way I don't worry about a winder.

Starting the week with the Daytona is the one time I'm glad it doesn't have a date .

I flipped a bunch of watches, now I've settled on a 4 watch rotation I'm happy with (with a dress watch in the safe). I wind up & wear one for 2 or 3 days, then onto the next one.

Rotation can work.

Try sitting on it first.
