New Rolex Boutique in Seattle

Hey guys new to the forums and thought you'd be interested in seeing the new Boutique Rolex by Ben Bridge opened today. The new location is located in Seattle Washington and if you live in the area or visiting say Hi to me :).

Hope you enjoy :)

Yes Seattle is HQ and I believe it's a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

I think it's a total facelift for all Ben Bridge locations in the area--I was in the Alderwood Mall location on Sunday and they were closed for the renovations.

Aahh cool. Live in Bellevue, and would like to avoid the extra uptight nature prevalent on the eastside. Definitely will have to check it out.

Beautiful, but when I hear Rolex and Boutique in the same breath all I can think of is NO DISCOUNT.

Oh well. The wave of the future. Sad to see Rolex going in this direction. I used to so enjoy shopping around at ADs looking for the best price.

Great pics though thanks.

Is this a move by Rolex that explains the reduction of ADs? If they are getting into direct retailing, this could explain why the number of ADs is falling...

And yes, the price-haggle-ability when dealing with Rolex directly can be safely predicted at zero.

Well, it's actually AD's that own these stores.

Ben Bridge, Wempe, etc. Rolex does not own the 'boutique'.

Rolex does not own or operate retail stores
Instead, Rolex is encouraging existing AD's, such as Tourneau and Ben Bridge, to open separate stores called "Rolex Boutique".

As far as discounts, BB wasn't known for that anyway, so nothing lost in the opening of the boutique - and on the plus side, it's probably a larger selection than was available before.

We currently have about 280 watches in stock and should get about 350 total when we are up and running. If you would like to be invited to the grand opening evening party in June please private message me. Acouple things that I found out from Rolex themselves yesterday. 1. The prince will no longer be available in the US after they sell out due to customs. They wanted the Swiss made in the rear to be visible 100% of the time. 2. Only rolex lab inspected and approved by rolex will be able to work on your watches on location. Just thought you all should know as watch collectors.

On another note please stop by and say hi when you come in. I look forward in seeing you all and meeting the forum family.

Exactly...Ben Bridge is the last place to expect a discount. Gotta be one of the more expensive places to procure a Rolex or anything.

I bought my GMT from Alvin Goldfarb in Bellevue. They are a friendly non-pompous group. I really enjoy browsing there. Personally I would chew off my arm before I buy another watch from Ben Bridge.
