GMT:How difficult is it to change bezel insert?
Because, after seeing many examples on line, I will attempt it this afternoon. Anyone have a horror story to share before I start?

As long as it's not the new ceramic model, it's a pretty easy swap.

I think I read once from an expert, that 90% of the time no big deal. It's that 10% of the time that can be a real bear.

There are a few horror stories on this site. Folks losing their bezel springs / scarring up their watches something fierce.
If you are bound and determined to do this yourself, good luck. I'd take mine to my local RSC or competent watchmaker. FYI, my RSC warned me about switching out the bezel inserts too often. Eventually, the bezel will not hold fast to the watch case. We WIS love to talk about the versatility of the GMT / switching out inserts, but in the end, the watch was not meant to take repeated switch outs... |

Respectfully, if you're a guy that can do blue-stuff, you'll be ok

You can actually buy a bezel removal tool quite cheap.
