Icon14 New strap for summer on my new IWC Mark XVII....

First I want to say that the OEM leather is fantastic and the beefed up buckle is a nice improvement, but, I needed a summer strap.

I finally got my Kevlar look strap in the mail today. I had one on my old 3717 and I loved it, so I knew I had to get another. These straps have the IWC OEM Kevlar look that comes on the Top Gun model without the price tag. It has a rubber like outside and the inside is a nice water resistant leather. This strap will be perfect for the hot AZ summer. I really like being able to wash my washes, including the strap, and always find that I prefer to wear a water proof strap for that reason.

I just got out of the pool and gave it a quick bath, now it smells like peaches from my wife's Bath and Body soap, much better than sweat like some of my old leathers.

For those that asked for picks when TWB strap arrived, here ya go. This strap is 115X75 just like the OEM leather and fits my 7 1/4" wrist perfectly.

Yes it will, the Mark XVII takes a 20mm strap also.

You can get them here. http://www.thewatchboys.com/iwc-styl...tch-p-210.html

This is a great summer strap that can get wet all day long. It is comfortable and looks great, it will be perfect on your Mark XVI.

It is funny, so many are afraid to swim with them. They are rated to 6 bar and IWC clearly states that they are safe for swimming, yet so many will never see water.

People get really wrapped up in needing a diver for the pool, it is just silly. I am finding the Mark XVII to be a great daily watch, it can handle anything I throw at it, it is a joy to wear.

My wrist is 7 1/4" and I purchased the regular, 115X75.

In the past I purchased the long which was 125X85 and it was a bit large for my wrist. The OEM length is 115X75 so you can gauge how the strap will fit off of that.

Looks fantastic.
1. Where can i buy the Kevlar Strap?
2. What size is the buckle and how do you get the buckle into the Kevlar Strap?
3. Is it easy to change the strap or do i need to go to watch dealer?
