Tudor Pelagos pictures

Apologies if it has been posted but in case you want to see more pics of the Pelagos:

http://forums.watchuseek.com/f23/my-...cs-727526.html

The more I see of this watch the more I like it ...it's a refreshing departure from the half a million bucks Rolex are charging for an entry model Sub .

I'd like to see a comparison shot of the Pelagos and the DSSD. It looks too big for me.

Plain beautiful, nice "neo vintage style", a bit pricey, but a great watch.

Wow! Way bigger than I thought, not for wrists under 7" IMO....similar to the DSSD.

Now I'm highly curious to see the black bay next to the pelagos.....

What's the price point vs the Sub? Is it worth the money in comparison

Great looking watch. Can't wait to try one on when it finally arrives in HK. But not likely to pick up on new.

It's not mine...unfortunately

I do not see it as being overly large, especially being Ti it should be of very nice weight on the wrist ...

The Pelagos is a very nice tool watch. Love the no nonsense design, lume on the bezel and special clasp.

If they made one in 40mm or below I would buy it in a heart beat.

I like it, something about the clasp just seems wrong to me though. Not really feeling the open line down the middle of the clasp or having springs in there, looks like it would collect all kinds of nasty stuff.

Not the prettiest of clasps, but highly functional no doubt

The watch is so matte overall as to have a military/tactical look

A good diver's watch I'm sure, even if (like other dive watches) it is only used as a backup

It would look great on an Isofrane strap.

My only concern is the thickness, it seems to have taken its design cue from DSSD.

Agreed, the thickness (and the clasp for that matter) kill it for me. Still, nice tool watch for someone may actually dives, or someone that likes oversized cases.

I might be wrong, but from what I've read the DSSD is 17.7 mm thick and the Pelagos is 13.8 mm thick. If this is right, that is a big difference and they will certainly not wear the same.

Do you have a source for the thickness? Tudor has not published thickness so I'd be interested

In the same thread. The OP claims to have measured it.

This is about 1 mm taller than a Sub C.

This wears almost the same as a SubC. Slightly more comfortable cos it is slightly lighter and better balanced to be honest.

It wars MUCH better than a DSSD and it is not quite as thick (I had them both in front of me at the AD yesterday)

The bracelet is very nice and contours very well. The clasp is solid too and feels good, I dont like the centre cut out though .

All in all it is a qaulity watch and at a more approachable price than it's Rolex siblings .
