Tarnished Gold Markers on Dail
Can tarnished gold on the markers/Rolex crown of a otherwise excellent dial be removed to make the gold shine again safely? Thanks!

IMO would be difficult to do well. It would likely take away value from most highly collectible models. On less-valued references, the cost could be prohibitive.

I have been all kinds of careful when cleaning dials, and refuse to learn a lesson after damaging all (not most, but ALL) of them. And I've read every trick on the 'net. My advice (which I refuse to follow) is DON'T MESS WITH IT!
