A month ago I didn't own a watch; then I bought a dress Rolex and now I have a 'tool' Rolex.

Good old Watches Of Switzerland - no waiting lists - they get 'em in and they put 'em out...so today when I saw an SS Sub, flaunting in the window of one of their numerous London stores, I couldn't resist...

I've no idea how to use a camera properly, but I hope you enjoy the photos of these 2 amazing watches.

Notice the old paper warranty and the new credit card style.

I was surprised that the Sub had no anchor and no hologram sticker on the back - but they're both brand new and from ADs and they're both my babies!

A great collection there, which store did you buy from? They have a fairly good selection. They run a rolex boutique in bond street.

My SD didn't have a hologram either, and Rolex doesn't supply anchors any more.

But you can get an anchor from Jeff "Colemantis" on TRF via the Classifieds section. There's absolutely no practical use for an anchor, but that didn't stop me from buying one from him.

yes, i know the latest models Sub or SD won't carry any registered meters anchor....but why changed????

No hologram due to some reported sensitive to the types of materials Rolex used. same as some are even over react to the Rolex 904 L stainless steel ( what a pity !!! for them...... )
& a common problem is that our wrist hair goes in between the bracelet even if it is a brand new brand whether it is a gold or SS one......

Two questions: is your 16610 Sub Date a Z-series or an M-series and does it have CRB?

I think I see CRB in the first photo you posted but I'm not certain.
