This is my watch. There are many like it, but this one is mine...
My favorite watch:
My TAG Heuer 1500. I bought it after I graduated college. It has been my constant companion. It was on patrol with me for a decade. It has been around the world with me, snorkling, diving, rock climbing, sailing, kayaking, flying, glider flying. It was on my wrist when my son was born, when I graduated the academy (fire and police), when I graduated law school. I used it to time my comings and goings at Ground Zero and at the Ironman and Xterra triathlons. It has had blood, soot, tissue, concrete and ash washed off it. It has been soaked in seawater, fresh water, tears, flames, beer and champagne. I have bought and sold others: Rolex. Omega. Breitling. But this one is not for sale. Which one of yours is never for sale? |

You can have it when you pry it from my cold dead hand...

The one in my avatar was given to me by my parents 30 years ago. I'll never part with it.

It will be the last to go, if I have to sell them all. |

Very good write-up - love it.
My older model Tag F1 is the one I'll never sell. My wife gave it to me when we first started dating around 17 years ago. I wore it for everything for at least 10-12 years, beat the heck out of it, and it took the abuse. It's a little small by today's standards, so my wife wears it occasionally. For fun I took out all the removeable links, and it nicely fits my four year old son's wrist - he loves it. I'll let him wear it when he gets a little older. |

Theoretically all of mine are for sale, it's just a matter of how much time I put in between wearing it and announcing it's sale price

My first watch ever. I know, started with the best....
Basically, my life was in great flux and I had wanted it for 5+ years. Finally got it and all downhill since then. I don't wear it a ton, but still love it nonetheless. Decided I'm never going to sell it, unless I have to for my family. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...hlight=finally Don't bump it please.

I have two that I would never part with.
This is my absolute all time favorite timepiece: This one I inherited from my stepfather forty-five years ago. It was a gift to him from my mother.

Raf, that picture was taken 10 years ago. I've got a lot more grey hairs on the arms now, although most of it is still on top. If you check my Facebook mug shot, you'll see what's on top.

My Omega Planet Ocean. It has travelled the world with me and been on all kinds of adventure. I often think about selling everything else I got and just keeping this one.

Duc Doc: May I ask why the Titanic watch? I have seen that brand advertising and seen that watch and wondered who/why anyone would buy it? Not because I am critical at all, but genuinely wondering, is there a personal connection to RMS Titanic?

I'd like to say my Datejust but if I had to part with my watches for a reason or another it would most probably go because I know I'd be able to find another one.
This one, on the other hand...

I will never sell my first Rolex, a black 16613 I purchased in 1991. Right now, it's on "loan" to my middle daughter, and heaven only knows when I will get it back.

Is this a factory dial? Goodness, the Submariner is one of the very few watches I didn't like that much with diamonds (the exception being the serti dials) but this one looks very special and unique!

The dial was made by the watchmaker at Royal Jewelers in Fargo, ND, 21 years ago. I know many TRFers don't like brilliants on a dial, but this watch has sentimental value to me

Don't get me wrong, I love diamonds on a watch (especially when it's on the markers)!
