I live is So Cal and heard from numerous Asian friends that purchased Rimowa luggage in Hong Kong and saved lots of cash. Does any forum members live in Hong Kong and can shed light on this? In the US, Rimowa is not discounted.

I need to purchased 3 pieces for an upcoming trip to Italy.

Be careful not to get fakes, as there's fake Rimowas too....

Not sure if they would be cheaper in HK, as they are made in Germany. But funny thing about Rimowas, they are a bit cheaper in Finland (with a higher VAT) than in Germany.

I own three pieces, they're awesome luggage.
