Where has your watch been?

I just got back from my trip to tokyo. Here is a shot of my Oysterdate on my way to the top and at the top of Mt. Fuji!

Here is what time I arrived at the top :)

Where have you taken yours?

It sure is! I love it! Wasn't sure if they are okay in the rain or not, but I wore it anyway and it did great. Here is another shot of some of the "fun" parts of the climb.

From New York to Moscow my Rolex has traveled with me. It's all good. People look at my old vintage Rolex watches and probably think "old lady, old watch, let's move on and find a new Daytona" : - )

Way too close to an irritable ram in my field.

Amish-run livestock auction.

Lesbian bar in Rehoboth with the best wings.

Movie premiere for charming indie film starring major TV actor.

And soon, to the other side of the globe.

Most recently my Submariner has joined me to Maui. Saw the island from the top of Mt Haleakala to the bottom of the Molokini Crater and Cathedrals II(SCUBA dive sites).

I recently purchased my Explorer 42 from Dr Alastair Sutcliffe who is a true explorer. Author of the book The Hardest Climb. He's summited Everest amongst others. I hoped that he'd worn the Explorer on his climbs but unfortunately, No, he wore his trusty SUUNTO Instead. He actually flipped for a Daytona. I'm glad I am the recipient of his Explorer anyway.

Worn my SD swimming / diving all over Hawaii, to Australia and the Great Barrier Reef, and now to Afghanistan where it’s keeping incredible time (though not fully utilizing its water resistance specs).

Good luck out there. I spent six months out there in Helmand Province, 2006, with 3 Para Battlegroup. We were constantly under siege by the Taliban. Our Patrol base was nearly overrun on a couple of occasions.

Ah, good ol Afghanistan. It's a shame that place has so many land mines and crazy people. It's actually really beautiful in the winter time. The snowboarding would be epic!

I'm envious...10 yrs. in Tokyo and I've only driven to the 5th station. If I weren't so "banged up," I would have done a early morning clime or two.
