question about my datejust

two months ago i bought my first rolex, a tt datejust. I would have to say that after having the watch for 2 months, I am still very pleased with my decision to buy the watch.
I wear the watch almost everyday, but sometimes I dont wear it and it stops ticking. this happens about once a week. is this bad for the watch?

Cody,
It probably won't hurt anything although there is a bit of incremental wear if you have to re-adjust everything once a week.

You may not be active enough to keep your watch at a fully wound state, so when you take it off it does not have the full ~40 hour power reserve..

If you know it's going to be off for longer than usual, give it about 30 manual winds to get it up to full power and it should sit there for a full day without stoping..

Welcome to TRF!

The power reserve is about 42 hours for the DJ, so if you don't wear it every day, the PR will drop to a low level.

Just give it some more wrist time, and I bet you won't have that problem anymore!
