Pres Clinton's JLC Navy SEALs at DNC

Anyone catch Pres Clinton wearing a JLC Navy SEALs at the Democratic Convention? Thought it was pretty cool that he was sporting such an amazing piece.

It's a shame that you can't separate the watch from your politics.

This is an international forum with many different political affiliations. Same goes for religion. Keep your religious and political views to yourself. Why, because it's a clear rule on TRF and we enforce it as a matter of respect, understanding and a celebration of our differences.

The "blue dress" comment is simply going to create a problem that we will now have to monitor. So, thanks for that. It has nothing to do with the watch, does it.

Comments can be made concerning the watch ....not about the man.

Any member who forces us to lock this thread because they can't resist making political comments will be given infractions or if deemed necessary a ban.

Work with us on these principles, please.

If that's not something you can do then stay out of this thread.

Btw..OP....I think the watch looks super cool. It's a great piece and it clearly works well with a suit. Nice to see a piece like this displayed in this way.

You know, I was thinking that JLC, despite being quite nice, looked too big for my taste. However, seeing it on his wrist made me change my mind, it fits him very well.

Great watch. I've owned it. I wish it didn't have the whole Navy Seal name/marketing spiel, but still, it is a great blend of a modern take on a classic design. A future classic, I think!

It wears very well for a 44mm watch, partly because the way the lugs tapers and the fact that it is very light in grade 5 titanium. Here are some old post that I had with it, I don't think it looks overly big on my 7 1/4" wrist.

You know, I've always had this one-in, one-out rule as I don't want a particularly large collection. I can't even remember what I needed to get and flipped this one, but it is actually one of those pieces I wouldn't mind buying back. It is unique, super comfortable and wears great.

Fun to dress up and down on various straps

Hmmn.....like what you did with it

I understand and also probably follow the same principle Patrick.

My watches are all shaking in their boots now.....especially the ones which have been in the safe and not on my wrist for a while

Anyway.....I'm not sure where I'll get to try the piece on in the near future .....but try it on I must

Good looking watch. I see how it can be a versatile time piece. I prefer a black strap.

I wish that puppy was mine, but it was from a series of shots when I was out driving a good friends 355. He got tired of that ol' thing and traded it for a 360 Spider, which is much more fun to drive! :-)

Me? I transport my 400 kids in a 7,000 lbs Land Cruiser! ;-)

Well given the incoming threads you've started ever since I joined (let alone the ones that were created before...) I believe hippo meat might be a better filler...

...Now look what you've done! You have just hijacked another innocent thread!
