Check this out

So when I graduated college way back in 1999, I bought myself a watch that I thought was not only a great deal but about the only thing I could afford. If memory serves me, I think I paid about $99 for this automatic Invicta. It served me well but when I took it in to a local jeweler for service on the crown, this is what I got back. Who tries to pry off a case back like this and returns it to the owner in this condition?!
It's no Rolex but it has sentimental value to me.

Did you confront the jeweler?

Same thing happened to me with a Breitling. They clearly didn't have the correct tools to do it but took it in anyway without telling me. Came back with a few deep scratches on the case-back. The owner (who was not the watch tech) apologized and gave me the service for free. Haven't been back since.

I'd get it repaired elsewhere and stick them with the bill!

On a breitling? Scratches on the case-back?

I'd shoot them..

All of them...

To death...
