I love the smell of Jet A1 in the morning . . . ;-)

Ahhhh.... the good ol smell of JP-5.... On the deck of the USS Carl VINSON (CVN-70) in the middle of the Pacific before first launch in the morning.... Brings me back to my youth...

Now that's what I call Nap of the Earth. Used to love watching the static on the rotors of the Chinook during night operations. I sure miss it sometimes...

What did you fly ?

Guess to young for the A-7 & F-14;-)

So it has to be the F-18 . . . at least it it was fixed wing . . .

It smells exactly like money to me.

I love it and the Jet Fuel loves (and must have) my chemicals added to it...otherwise, it don't fly.

Yes, and Kero comes from Diesel. We can take it all down to Crude.

Yes, I know that. So does gasoline. But I was commenting on the remark made about smell. Diesel smells nothing like JP-5 (kerosene) nor do either of them smell like gasoline.
