Thoughts? Ebay seller with great feedback.
Hello everyone! First off, I want to thank you for your input. Second, this is not my listing but I did win the auction. What do you guys think? Sounds too good to be true? I know it does not come with the paperwork but I'm willing to over look it for the price. The only concern I have is with the last picture. It seems very worn in and there is a black 'mark' near the buckle. I've asked him about it and he said it is just a bad picture.... but I don't know.
I did call him and pretended to be a prospective buyer of the watch. He was very nice and informative. He said he had already sold the watch to someone (which was me but he didn't know it was me... sneaky I know). He said he sold it for 3850 (150 more than what I offered and what he had accepted - sneaky on his end). And if he doesn't receive payment by Monday he would sell it to me for same price - 3850. I asked about the history of the watch. He said there was only one owner and she had upgraded to a gold presidential but she couldn't find the box or the paper work. I asked him on the phone regarding the picture with the black mark and he said it was the lighting and bad picture. He said the watch has been polished. Thoughts and honest opinion please....something too good to be true? item number 180988168490 if link below doesn't work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/180988168490...490%26_rdc%3D1 |

The seller has sold lots of watches (Rolex, Blancpain, GP, IWC, Tudor etc) with 100% feedback, and gives a landline phone number to be contact on. Seems fine. However, if you wanted us to check a watch over, perhaps ask our advice before purchasing it?

How many times are you going to ask the same question?

The watch is fine and the seller as far a originality. He seems to over polish his watches imho and the black you see is probably polish that has not been cleaned off properly.they Di not look like they are in the greatest condition. He sells a lot of watches as a watch dealer , I don't think he really knows where every watch comes from in reality, but that's fine, who really cares as long it's original and its not stolen of course which it won't be from a watch dealer with substantial feedback, all good if you like it.

Aileen - my opinion has not changed since the first time you posted this same thread.
I will add that you have already legally committed to this purchase from a seller who knows people on this forum. How smart is it to divulge your attempts to be sneaky? You did ask for honesty - so I am acceding to your request. BTW this is not the first time Mods have had to knit together your identical threads. The last time was a scant 3 weeks ago.
