Submariner Bezel Not clicking (2004 16613)
Pretty much as the title suggests.
Just purchased a 2004 16613 from a friend, the bezel rotates anti clockwise as it should, however doesn't 'click' as one would expect, it simply rotates freely wit a degree of resistance. The watch was inexpensive enough to allow a degree of margin for repair. Is this a straight forward fix or hellishly expensive debacle? Kindest Regards CR |

I agree, probably just a click spring. Another possibility is junk, crud and pocket lint! I've encountered this on a used sub I bought and a quick disassembly and clean up fixed it. I'd guess this is an odd case, and think u need a new spring.
Good luck and post an update!

Yes crap gets packed under the bezel and causes the click to get stuck so pop the bezel and clean under it, also the click can be adjusted by slightly bending the click end with a pair of needle nose pliers. Rikki

I wouldn't worry about it until you are ready to have it serviced. If it's already had one, then just wait until the next one.
In fact, you now have an infinite level of control over the bezel position - you can move it to the exact position you need. Ordinarily the click spring forces you to use a whole minute position or half-minute position (120 clicks for a full rotation).
