AP ROO buying advice sought, from a Rolex fan!

I've fallen heavily for the AP ROO Navy Themes. OK, so I can get a brand new one in the UK for £12,000. I think this looks like an exceptional price. I am seeking guidance from the AP experts, is it? Also, am I losing something from the AP by this piggybacked movement, whatever that is?

I have a 116613 as my daily wearer, so blue is really my colour. Well, I am a Mancunian, so it should be! The Sub is an absolute grail and keepr, so the ROO would join in to a 2 watch roration until I can afford something else!

Michael.

The navy is a beautiful watch. Go for it. It has a modular chrono vs integrated. Pros and cons to both. Some purists would prefer the integrated but the modular (two movements one on top of the other) is very good and cheaper to service. Good luck.

I've got the navy themes myself, I think 12k quid is a good deal for a brand new one. It's a great watch that goes so well with jeans and white shirts etc.

Go for it :).

OK, great advice as always. I'll start to really consider this now.
