Need advice - GMT watch

Hello!

I have a green sub, the "hulk" and i am very satisfied of this watch! Beautiful! The best watch there is, and i like all about it, but, after having a lot of other watches i still dont find the perfect GMT watch that could give me what the Hulk gives me when thinking about divers. So, the questions is, EXCEPT the rolex (GMT and Explorer) what would you chose as a GMT (dual time watch) that could be a nice pair with the Sub?

What i would like the GMT to be:
- steel bracelet
- reasonable wr (100+)
- inhouse movement
- reliable (to last me a life time) - i will buy it when i will relocate to another continent and i would like a watch that shows the time at my country of origin. I will leave it to my children.
- price range - around 10-15.000

What i had in the past war the reverso JLC - squadra hometime (loved it but 50m wr... too low) and i had an Ebel BTR GMT - not bad, but... not enough salt and pepper :)

PS - writting this i cant find a better one than the Rolex GMT ceramic. Need your advice about someting different.

I guess you could look at some Omega watches for that.

Honestly, I don't think there is a better watch for you than the Rolex GMT Master. It has all the salt and pepper anyone other than a very, very, serious, or commercial diver would ever need.

I love my GMTc, highly recommend it. Otherwise I would go for a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Dualtime. Classic, works great as both casual and dress IMO.

The problem is that the movement is a JLC movement and i think the wr is 50m. I have what i consider the best AP - 15300. But the dual time, nice but not really a match (in my eyes for the GMT ceramic Rolex).

Not sure I understand.

What would be the problem with a JLC movement?

It is not in-house. The way i see a watch with no inhouse movement is that they are not making a watch, but only assembling it.
No problem with a JLC movement inside a JLC watch. :)

Seriously, you won't find a better GMT than the GMT IIc or Explorer II. Other manufacturers do GMTs/World Timers, but none can compete with the easy legibility, superb movement and overall package of the Rolexes

Chris, do you know if other brands have jump hour hand feature like Rolex?

Off the top of my head, Omega GMTs do (they also use a jump hour in a few of their standard time and date movements as opposed to a traditional quickset date). I have to say my knowledge is a bit patchy beyond that

Grand Seiko GMT SBGE001 is 200 meters wr, hour hand adjustable in one hour increments, sapphire bezel with amazing lume, and amazingly accurate. It is a great choice as an alternate to Rolex!

AP simply puts any Rolex to shame, JLC movement or not. I don't understand your analogy on in house movements. Rolex used to use the Zenith movement on the Daytona which many think was a good move and better movement.

New I think the Grand Sekio is very cool. But it's almost 6k.

When I was looking to add a GMT watch to my "stable" of watches I went with a sightly older model from Omega, 2538.20 Seamaster GMT "Great White, although it doesn't hit all your requirements, it has a 300m depth rating, great on the wrist and every bit as hearty as most dive watches on the market.
