My wife's mom gave this watch to her. We have no idea how old it is or name of the model ?

Ladies fashion watches didn't always come out as a certain model. It should have a model number stamped on the caseback or inside the back. It should also have a movement serial or case serial as well. With these numbers Rolex can provide you with the approximate age and any service records if it was ever serviced..
Your photo is really too poor to make much of a determination.. The strap should have hallmarks too, as it should be precious metal. It's pretty typical of the Ladies Fashion watches produced throughout the 60's

Nice watch, similar to this early 1960's of Nancy's which we had overhauled at Rolex Canada a couple of years ago. Yep, they still have the parts inventory to service the 1400 movement, which is probably what's powering yours.
As Larry mentioned, probably early - mid 1960's, and if you pop off the caseback the precious metal hallmarks should give you an idea of what year the case was manufactured.
