What mobile phone do you use for business?

I use a Palm Treo 700P on Verizon Wireless. Oddly, I make everyone else use Blackberries since they are a little more "set and forget". Treos running corporate apps need a litle more handholding. I've been using a Treo since 2003, and this is my fourth.

I might try a Blackberry 8830 or Pearl in the near future. The Treo is kind of a brick.

iPhone. I like it because you can access to any websites and emails. I didn't like it at first because of the keyboard but now I'm used to it.

I've used Treos and Windows-based PDA/phones....after years of those I got a Blackberry and haven't looked back since! Am on my third now (the Curve on T-Mobile) and LOVE it. Everything at my fingertips...Push email is amazing! The most stable of all the devices I've tried!

I have about 300 phones.
One is always the iPhone, and the other... depends on the mood.
I started the day with a BlackBerry 8820, then switched to HTC Tytan II "Tilt".
Tomorrow... probably the Moto Q or the BlackJack 2.
Eventually I will be back with the BlackBerry 8820. Once you use a Berry, everything else just sucks.

sanyo 5500-excellent speaker phone and have a see thru case installed to see all the transistors and wires-i know its a brick and ain't bluetooth capatible. Its a fossil amongst todays phone. I love it.

verizon pocket pc. It works well for me in business but I wouldn't get it for my employees. Nobody likes to use the touch screen numbers. The flip out keyboard is much more practical than on the treo. (which I owned too)

I was just about to post how much I hate Nextel. I like going to this Chinese buffet nearby, and there's always one or two construction foremen or delivery guys in there having a conversation on PTT. And it's typically not business related. They are just talking about where to meet for lunch, or laughing at Donny/Rudy/Larry for driving his f-250 into a ditch. Some lunch places around here ban speakerphone conversations, as they should.

I hate Nextel PTT with the white heat of a thousand suns.

I use a Treo 700wx on Verizon. I upgraded from the 700w because it has twice the memory (which results in half the crashes). I like the Treo because I can run a bunch of Windows apps on it, including Pocket Quicken and TomTom GPS plus a bunch of games (which you can't do on a Blackberry).

The only thing I don't like is that I can't use it overseas because it's CDMA. So to cure that problem, I bought a $50 international phone that works everywhere but the US and Canada (which is where the Treo works, so I didn't need to spend the extra bucks for that service area coverage).

I agree...Verizon gave me three after I purchased my first one...45 minute battery life...no reception...it's junk. I use a Razr2 now. Just give me a regular phone.

If you want epic battery life, check out the Treo 700P. I charge mine maybe twice a week, and I use it heavily for voice and email.

Prada is an overseas phone, so it comes unlocked for GSM. It's aimed towards a totally different market than the Blackjack. I know it's been out for a while now, but earlier in the year the price difference was huge.

So does the international phone work on the same plan as your verizon phone? Does that international phone use a sim card? And could that sim card possibly be removed for using it in a different phone in the USA?

I got it from Mobal Communications. I do a moderate amount of international travel and was always having to rent a phone, which go pretty pricey. This phone was US$ 50, with no monthly service plan and pay as you call. The phone is registered to a UK number and since much of my travel is to London, it works out well. The cost of in-country calls is quite cheap and the international calls are also reasonable - actually better than a rental phone.
