White Daytona v Yachtmaster

I have a black dial and was thinking next for a lighter colour dial of either the white Daytona or Yachtmaster. Assuming you could get them for a similar price which would you choose?

Daytona. Provides better contrast to the sub I'm assuming you own based on your display picture.

I've heard the Yachtmaster ages very badly. The platinum bezel is prone to scratches and so are the PCL's. Then again the Daytona isn't exactly scratch resistant.

I owned a YM, after purchasing a Daytona I lost all love for the YM and flipped it for something else. 2nd Daytona is the way to go.

DDDDaytona.. but it the price difference should be a big factor. I see you say "assuming you can get for same price", but realistically we're talking about a $4k difference in the pre-owned market

These were my 2 dream watches and what I had to ultimately decide between, until I saw them in person. Daytona just felt too cluttered and small. Yacht-Master blew me away.

And if we factor in price... I think it's a no brainer.

Both watches are gorgeous though, good luck!

I have to agree - Daytona!

Interesting to see the lack of YM love on this forum.

I happen to like it - not as popular as the Sub. That said, I still wouldn't buy one =)

Haha, actually I posted that and thats why I was seriously thinking about the YM, but I think as do most here that Daytona is the way to go.
