Hi All:
What is the difference between 35mm and 40mm watches? Only size? What year Rolex start putting solid links into YM bracelets? What is the more popular (and expensive) stainless still or two tones models?

Caliber is different, 35mm uses the "lady" 2235 when 40mm have a 3135 like a DJ or Sub.

When you set the time with your watch, hands turns CW for the 40mm and CCW for the 35MM (as well as for the now discontinued 29mm).

IIRC - The 35mm and 40mm YM use the same caliber 3135 movement.

The Yachtmaster is an awesome watch man, I somewhat regret trading it. However, 2 Rolexes>1Rolex in this case so keep your watchs.

The YM doesn't really come in a straight stainless steel. The SS model has a Platinum bezel and dial..

The SS Yachtmaster has had solid lnks since it's introduction.

"Expensive" is a frame of mind.. If it's important to you, you can easily look pu the prices..

Just add one other thing: the 40mm is the only one with the trip-lock crown, the other versions all use the twin-lock.
