448 then 424 .... 422 !!

Greetings TRF this is my first post on the panerai subforum..

I am on the waiting list for a 448 for a while and by the look of it my turn will never come come !! So I settled for waiting for a 424 which in my opinion looks almost as good ...

To cut the story short I paid the boutique a visit last night and this is what I saw ...... (sorry for the bad quality)

i came into the boutique wishing for the 424 and came out totally in love with the 422! now my 424 shall arrive at the end of Jan.. and this 422 is available now ,,

so im giving my self a couple of days to think about it ... what do you guys think ??

Wishing everybody a happy new year

Aziz

I am lucky to have gotten my 448, indeed.. I do however like the 424 a lot too, even the 422..

I do however prefer my 372 and 448 to those !

I say go for 424

If you don't mind the date, the gold hands on the 424 are great with the Cali dial. But, since what you really want is the 448, I don't think long-term the 424 will satisfy you. Go 422 now and see about the 448 later.

Love the 422 - possibly the nicest 1950 case model of all

Not a RAD fan especially with the date. Go 422. It's all about the shape of the case. You will love it.

Is this question for real??? J/k

422 by a landslide for me, and that is coming from a Radiomir fan.

I like a date function and I have one on my 233; although I'm not a purist by any sense of the word, I just can't deal with a cali dial *and* date window, sorry...

On the other hand, the 422 is close to perfect; put a nine on there and even the purists would be wagging their tails

422 has my vote - but I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose - there are no really bad choices here
