What is your New Years Watch Collecting Resolution?
More watches or less watches? Quality over Quantity? More complicated movements or less complicated? New Brand, New Style of Old Brand? More accessories or less accessories? Get one back that you regret selling, Sell one you don't wear? Post more on a watch forum or continue lurking? Attend a watch gathering this year or start your own watch blog?
Or wait for the fiscal Cliff to shake out and then make a decision? Happy New Years Everyone. May 2013 be a great one for all! Thanks, Bruce |

I'd like to get at least one vintage Hamilton since as of now I don't have one yet. Also I'd like to only get about two watches this year.(let's see how long that resolution lasts)

I'm considering adding a chrono to the collection, likely an AP. It will probably be my only addition in 2013. The remaining will be some new straps/buckles and probably a servicing of one.

Focus on quality pieces that are more permanent to the collection. Try to narrow the collection down to under 10 watches. Happy New Year!!!!

No clue, but need to take it easy. I guess 2012 was a good year for me. Got a 390 and my pseudo grail 232 from a nice bloke.
Sadly probable no watches for me on 2013. Gonna do a move this year and double up on the house. I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through my friend's purchases! ;-) You never know what will happen though. I did recently try on a Patek Nautilus this year. Wowza! I do love Panerai too much however. A 372 would be incredible. Maybe if I found one at a good price and my wife doesn't go crazy on the house.....ah to dream. SIHH 2013 is right around the corner however, so who knows, but who am I kidding. I feel like I should try other brands more, but nothing gets me as excited as Panerai. My indefinite plan is to just keep buying modest pieces and one year maybe I can do a serious consolidation purchase for my true grail......3646. I'm at least a decade from that though. It wouldn't be worth it if it was easy I guess. All said, I'm very happy and lucky though! I've wanted this one for 2-3 years now. Good topic BTW.

For 2013, either a 422, 345 or DSSD

Great question.
Now I've stepped out of the Rolex only collection, don't know what's coming next. AP ROO has been on my radar as well...

I really really really want to add a Patek. It's about time. I'll have to sell a lot of my collection though.

Learn as much as I can about vintage subs and to add one quality vintage 1680 to my collection. If a few others slip in here or there that would be fine to.
What can I say, it's an obsession.
