rolex gmt lovers and owners
for those who love and own a gmt II with the two color inserts, this includes (dan) which insert is your favorite one for me its the
Coke then the Pepsi. for me i think the coke is the best, it feels more versatile that the other inserts so i would like to know what do you guys think. i hope Jocke doesn't mind me borrowing his picture. |

Vintage coke. Haha I think this photo so gle handedly convinced a lot of people there were red/black bezel 1675s and 16750s!

For fall and winter I prefer coke.
For spring and summer I love to fly those pepsi colors. When I want to change things up any time of year it's all black. Love them all! dP

I am with Dan. I like the Pepsi insert during warm weather. It goes with my brighter color clothes. Then the Coke insert and all black when it gets colder and i am wearing more earth tones and darker colors.
I love the 16710. |

This is one of those threads at a GMT owner cannot ignore!
Mine has only recently come back from RSC service where I had a Pepsi insert fitted after wearing it with a Coke for 8 years. So for now Pepsi gets my vote as I love the blue, even though I know I'll be swapping between Pepsi and Coke over the years to come. |

Buying a Coke AND a Pepsi is on my 2013 To Do list. Just wondering, is it possible to change them out too often and wear them out?

I had a 16710 Coke, my first Rolex, bought back in 1997, for five years. I now have an older (much) 1675 Pepsi gilt dial. I love GMTs:

I have all three inserts, but have never changed from the coke original with which it came. This spring, after, 7 years with the coke, I will sucumb to the pepsi--maybe for a year's time, and see. I thought of the rootbeer, but with the black dial...I don't know. They are all great.
