The start of the Basel 2013 Rumor-Mill... Ceramic Explorer II?
Not sure if that is even on the books for them at some point, but it would seem inevitable given that the ceramic basel has made it on to the Daytona. What's up for this year?

ha, it is pretty luggy. BUT, compared to the subC it appears quite small. might be the caseback. it appears less blocky...... if it came out in a pepsi, that would be crazy cool.

If a GMT2C-PEPSI comes out, it will annihilate all SUBs and DSSD and GMT 2C-BLK sales put together. There would be massive FOR SALE signs in the TRF Sales Section as members try to liquidate their BLK GMT2Cs and other watches to get their hands on the GMT-2C-PEPSI...

i'd want to keep my black, because it is my conservative piece that i do not think i will ever flip. i really don't think i could justify selling it. that said, i never buy a watch without having funds for the next one ready. i would buy the pepsi in a friggin heart beat. the moment they announced it....i would be sending emails, texting and calling DavidSW to put me on his list.

I think a ceramic-cased, radio-controlled, 52mm, quartz, digital chronograph with perpetual calendar, countdown timer, second time-zone, multiple alarms, and Indiglo on a ceramic bracelet is definitely on the horizon.
Or not.

The ExpII has never had a non-metal bezel. I HIGHLY doubt they will ever put on a ceramic.

Forget ceramic. Has anyone thought of Rolex providing a pepsi or better yet a coke bezel made to LOOK like a ceramic model...Same style just different material....Then eveyone's photo shop fantasies would come true.

Ceramic Pepsi will need a red or possibly blue 24hr hand to replace the green?

I doubt we would see a ceramic explorer 2. I do expect a lot from the Daytona.

Red hand will be appropriate if it does happen.

Man on the moon.... I don't think a 2 color ceramic bezel would pose much of a problem, if they were determined to make one .....we can do anything we want!

I was told Rolex haven't come up with a way to bond the two ceramic halves together. |

Light a candle for the Pepsi and Coke. That style has passed. It's only forum fools like us who pine for them.
Maybe a ceramic 40mm Daytona in SS. If Daytonas were moving to 42mm the new ceramic/ gold models would have been bumped in size. Rolex is too predictable. |

40mm would be disastrous on a new SS Daytona. The current ones just look and feel too small, particuarly in comparison to the rest of the current range.
