I know these are poor jpegs, but I would like your opinions please.
Why does the box say "Oyster" when the watch is supposedly an Explorer II ??? |

"Oyster" is the case style.
Waterproof, screw down crown. All of the sport watches are Oyster. EXP II is the movement and dial configuration. Perhaps all of the current Rolex watches except Cellini are Oyster. Maybe even Cellini, I haven't had my hands on one. |

It's impossible to tell anything worthwhile from the pictures..
That is an old style box so I would expect to find an older serial numbered watch within.... |
