Doghouse Husband Pulled Plug Again!!
You might remember me as the Husband in Doghouse whose wife's girlfriend questioned authenticity of her Christmas watch.. it was real! I had such a rush, I jumped on a SS DateJust Blue in super condition from private jeweler. Can anyone check it out and tell me what they think. I've only belonged for to forum for 10 days now and think I own 2 real Rolexes. This could be addictive. Opinions??

You think you own two Rolex or you own two Rolex?
If this is for real then why don't you ask members here for advice on the authenticity of a purchase you are about to make not after the fact. Save you and us some grief. |

agreed, way better pics needed if he wants a solid answer, as i said it looks like a 16030, that is different from saying it is a 16030
to the poster the serial is in the correct range, so thats positive, but provide clear close ups of the serial, band clasp markings and dial thanks

What all have said agrees with what I see...plus I can't wrap my head around the length of those hour indices (sticks)
The other thing puzzling me is the OP's silence to requests for better pics while watching this thread until 11:42 PM on the 6th A pattern of fuzzy pictures just makes everyone's radar go up...

So, you have been buying a watch from a dubious source and later your gf questioned the authenticity?
I can imagine, that this slightly scared you and one lesson that you should have learnt from that is to ask about the authenticity PRIOR to a sale and not AFTERWARDS. Any now you come back again after buying another one with the same doubts and the same question? |

Thanks to TRF, I have learned. I bought both from individuals in my community that I trusted. That being said, with everything I've learned from TRF, the next one will be from a trusted seller on TRF. For those who feel I have caused them "grief", handicapped seniors sometimes need a bit more time. I truly apologize for asking dumb questions and taking fuzzy pictures. As a newbie, I am learning.

Joe, Please take the watch to a Rolex dealer and have it authenticated. They'll open it up and give you the straight scoop. You simply have not given us enough information to give you a definite answer.
16030's aren't exactly a commonly faked watch. Most fake older DateJusts are so bad you can spot them from across the room. But the bracelet could be counterfeit.
