? for all 16710 owners

I am thinking about purchasing a 16710.....have my eye on one that is circa 2001-2002. I want to get one with SEL but also have the lug holes showing on the case.
This is the model I would buy:

My ? is how many of you owners have all 3 bezels AND if you do how often to you actually change the bezels.

I love the versatility of this watch and I would buy/source the other 2 bezel inserts if I do buy......just wondering how often I would physically change out the bezels????

Thoughts greatly appreciated and I apologize if this has been discussed....I did a quick search and did not find the answers I was looking for.

I own a Z serial# 16710 with the pepsi insert and acquired the other two inserts a few months after i bought the watch. I change the inserts twice a year which gives me a chance to wear each insert once during the year.

My 16710 is not my daily beater and also must fight for wrist time with my other four watches. No telling how many times i would change the insert if it was my daily beater. I would probably change it ALOT.

After a few months of Coke I went Pepsi and never looked back.

My RSC recommended that I not change inserts often. 1. You risk damage and 2. The case / bezel metal will eventually wear down and your part may not stay on as well.

While you can interchange inserts...I guaranty you these watches were not meant for frequent swapping.

I'd limit changing...but that's me.

I'm the same way. I have a P series 16710 that was purchased in 2002 with the Black Bezel, and I just wear that watch or my 116710. I'm just too much of a sissy to try and open up my watch or inadvertently scratch it somehow, or worse break it. Just sizing the watch and setting the watch time is as far as it gets for me.

I wouldn't change inserts too often as the bezels were not designed for it. If I still had my 16710, I'd have gotten a bezel for each insert and swapped bezels instead.

Well you either want a K or P serial as far as changing the bezel you can go to a watch maker and have it change just to be on the safe side

I would most certainly buy the Pepsi insert, I am on the fence about
The Coke insert. I am also a little concerned that this 16710 looks too similar to my 16610 sub and wonder if I were to obtain one, how often I would wear it.

I have a P serial 16710 with the original coke insert. It has SELs and lug holes - I agree that is the "go to" combo.

I also have all three inserts (in addition to the original) and have changed them occasionally but tend to just stick with coke.

The GMT Master II is a classic - great watch!

From my understanding, bezels are not easy to come by...no?
