My Journey: To all the PAMs I've loved before

Most of these have moved on to other homes, but they have all given me great pleasure. My Panerai journey feels like it may be coming to an end. With SIHH around the corner though ...

177 - My first Panerai! Why did I get this one? I guess I liked it most out of the limited selection at the local AD. Little did I know that this would only be the beginning.

312 - I saw Jason Statham on the cover of Revolution magazine wearing this watch and I fell in love (with the watch, not Statham)! I think this was my first dealing with the amazing DavidSW.

000 - As I learned more about the brand, I yearned for a base. I love this watch. I love it even more on my father in law's wrist where it sits today.

351 - I drooled over this when announced at SIHH. I picked it up from NYC boutique as soon as it came out. Love gold hands!

249 - Iconic. Wish I had the wrists to wear it more regularly. Nothing more to say.

243 - The submersible bezel and crown guard are amazing. Tritium markers made this love at first sight.

338 - Another gold hand in a Radiomir size that I thought better suited me. Unfortunately, the smaller size made it lose something.

417 - A boutique edition with the Statue of Liberty engraving! What's not to like. I was so excited to get the call from the boutique. The glow faded though as more and more boutique editions emerged.

190 - As Goldfinger would say, "I love gold!" There will never be another with a JLC 8 day. I loved the collectibility/rarity and look of this one. It just didn't get the wrist time.

233 - My latest. My preciousssss.

Great post! So, besides the 233, which others did you keep?

I'll be down to the 233 and 243. I'm trying to diversify my collection with different brands. I couldn't be more pleased with the 233!

What is the difference between the 312 and 351 other than the hands?

In addition to the hands, the 351 has a titanium case and dark brown dial vs the 312 with stainless case and black dial. They look and feel quite different in the flesh though hard to discern differences in photos.

Seems like a natural progression.
