u$aveontime?
Coming from ownership of TAG Heuer and Breitling mid level watches I am a new Rolex enthusiast and was wondering if anyone has dealt with the ebay dealer u$aveontime? I know grey market is not the first choice of the members on the forum but i also would like to save money on any purchase I make whether online or at an AD or a grey market jeweler.
The Daytona I am looking at is here:http: //cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290191634297&ssPa geName=STRK:MEWA:VRI If anyone has dealings with this seller either good or bad please post the info, no one has to slam anyone just a thumbs down if you don't want to go into detail. Thanks, Steve |

I too was looking at a watch from him on ebay (a Rolex Submariner). I asked him a question about the photos of the watch in question. He promptly replied that he was in the process of updating his photos. Apparently (at least with the Submariner) he uses the same photos for each new watch he lists, as opposed to taking photos of each watch individually. Many of the large watch sellers on ebay do the same thing. He is located in Miami Florida
You may want to verify the photos that he has shown in his listing are of the actual watch and not just the same photos he uses every time he lists that type of Rolex Daytona Good luck Sean |

I have purchased from u$aveontime (Joel) before. We are both in South Florida, so I went to meet him personally. For safety, both his and mine, we met at a bank. I purchased a TOG from him, and it was exactly as stated. I was very happy, and I wouldn't hesitate purchasing from him in the future.

So did you end up getting the watch from this user? I am curious because I saw his deals on E-bay as well. What is up with the warranty? The listing said that a warranty card was included, but it is not the original 2-year warranty, is it?

I did buy 2 watches from Joel, a TT 'Z' Daytona and a 'X' Ladies date just for my wife. Both have been authenticated but my Daytona has scratched hands so it has been opened before. The AD in my town is going to do a full service on the watch when they add the additional link I need. Total price with the new hands, link and service is $550. The watchmaker said it looks like the guy who tried to adjust the alignment didn't know what he was doing and scratched the hands. You can only see it through the 10x loupe. I dealt with Joel off of eBay and he was negotiable on the price. Warranty is not honored since the watch had been opened by someone other than the RSC my AD provides 1 year warranty after service, like everyone says, if you want it perfect buy new at an AD and there are no worries. I saved alot of money off of list and am very happy with my purchase.
