I am to be congratulated!!!

I passed on a watch that I wanted...But really couldn't afford...
And certainly didn't need!!!
It wasn't easy... but I did it...
Emailed the guy and said "No!"...
I need to go lay down...

LOL
You have touched a nerve with this post
It takes so much to walk away when there is a battle raging within..to buy or not to buy...

Comes with the territory

Clay a watch collector once told me he never regretted buying a watch. It's the ones he didn't buy that he regretted. I have regretted a few that I passed on last year. That being said, I'm sure you made the right decision. If it was meant to be I'm sure you could have "moved" some things "around" to make it work.

This is how I justify a new purchase. I always make a deal Wih myself to move something that I don't wear, or that I don't particularly like. Problem is......I never follow through with it.

Good grief, think of the economy. We'll never get out of the hole we're in if people stop buying things they don't need or can't afford!

Congrats.

Maybe there is some hope for the rest of us...this thing we have is curable. And in the meantime, the supply of Rolexes on the market has stabalized for a minute or two! Congrats, Clay!

Oh, by the way, isn't there some kinda gum thats available to deal with this craving? Maybe a small band playing, or something?

Congrats.
Love it!

I know too many people with that actual mindset. I don't think they are trying to help the economy however.

And to the OP....
I've actually not logged onto the forums for about a week one time as my watch itch was getting realy bad. It helps to just step away from time to time.
