I chose 5167, but the 5711 would fit too. They are my grail watches and are perfect for any occasion. Waterproof, slim and refined.

Two classics. If you go DJ II get the silver dial with Arabic numerals. You will have great contrast with the blacked out Sub.

5711
Patek, iconic, elegant, slim and light weight, and it's all stainless steel.

Obviously the Patek 5711 provided you are careful with your watch. But for a semi-clumsy person like me, I prefer a much tougher watch and will choose the Sub from these choice. I am actually wearing an Explorer II for my daily wearer nowadays. Deep scratches and Dings on watches pains me.

As daily wearers, hard to beat the DJII + Sub C combo

The Patek Philippe 5167, because it's a Patek and I prefer the Aquanaut over a Nautilus.

If you're going to have one or two daily-wearers, IMO, the only choice is Rolex. For all the folks who pick PP, my guess is none of them would actually wear one as a sport watch.

I chose PP 5711 among the options, otherwise would prefer WG/PL DDII, WG Daytona or AP RO/ROO
