What's Wrong With This Picture

I was hoping someone could tell me what are these marks on the inside of this Rolex Jubilee Two Tone Bracelet.

Would appreciate any information!

On the first photo, is there a screw missing on the third link?

The first photo is clasp blade wear. It's on my TT Jubilee bracelet also. The others, I couldn't tell you.

The rest of the marks look like stress from the pins. You can see it on every link and they are all in the same place and same size.

The links without screws are assembled by pressing serrated pins into the end of the link.
Could it be that the serrated pins were a bit too big and this has spread the link slightly?
You should be able to check this with a micrometer.

Looks like we posted at the same time.

Yes, there is a screw missing there. What does that mean?

Not only is a screw missing, the entire hole is gone.

Anybody else know what the marks in the second photo might be? Anybody else have similar marks on the inside of their jubilee bracelet? Is that normal wear?

Welcome to the Forum!

Did you purchase the watch new?

It is possible someone added/removed some links and during the process you have the links skipping a screw, and other marks, etc.

Marks are from the clasp rubbing on the link when closed and wearing it. My yg pres. was really bad they had to lazer weld some gold to build up the holes.

As mentioned first pic is clasp blade wear. The clasp has 3 curved pieces. There is a hinge holding the 2 inner curved pieces together. When closed that hinge is tucked under a bracelet link against your skin. Over time the hinge will wear small indents in the underside of a link (very normal).

They do seem to be way to close to the watch. Someone added more links and moved the micro adjustment out to the last position but they did a very bad job. They added a permanent link between 2 removable links (should never happen). Did you have links added before purchasing? I would never accept this period.

Secondly all the other marks or whatever they are on the inside of almost each link. No idea exactly what they are but definitely should not be there. Can't help thinking this bracelet was either very abused and then poorly cleaned up or worse it's a "parts bin" bracelet (multiple left over parts from other bracelets cobbled together to make a full one).
