TAG Heuer has devoted all of its avant-garde, mechanical watch-making expertise to the achievement of precision. The Calibre S has an exclusive electro-mechanical movement, developed and patented by TAG Heuer. Functions: The LINK Calibre S offers two operating modes: "TIME" mode and "CHRONOGRAPH" mode. Simply press the crown to change from one mode to the other. Use the central hands (hours, minutes, seconds) for intuitive, easy-to-read displays in both modes. The LINK Calibre S Chronograph dial has two half moon counters positioned at 4:30 and 7:30:

* In TIME mode:
Fitted with a perpetual calendar applicable until 2099, the counters indicate the date.
* In CHRONOGRAPH mode:
The left-counter indicates tenths of a second and the right-counter, hundredths of a second.

"CHRONOGRAPH" mode enables the measurement of simple time, split time and two periods of time that follow at very short intervals.

The time can be displayed at any point during timekeeping by simply pressing the crown.

Dial: elegant, with a hand applied luminescent index to provide perfect legibility in darkness. Monochrome TAG Heuer logo. Marked with "LINK – Calibre S".

Hands: angled, with a luminescent coating to facilitate reading the time in darkness.

Case: in satin-finish steel, with a 42mm diameter.

Glass: scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double-sided, anti-reflective coating, inside and out, for optimum dial legibility.

Bezel: tachometer bezel in polished steel.

Case back: screw-in and water resistant to 200 metres. Time and date adjustment instructions marked on the case back.

Bracelet: "S" link, satin-finish steel. Double safety clasp with folding buckle.

Although I think it looks nice, I'd never buy one. I guess I'm not a big TAG fan. I love the Monaco and the Monaco Calibre 360 LS Concept.

Tag Heuer has really stepped up to the plate with the newest models. I think they look great. Have to admit I'm not a big fan of the Link bracelet styling [a bit too modern for me] but it's UNBELIEVABLY comfortable.
Sure like my Monaco.

Not a huge fan of Tag, but that with a leather strap

I am new here and I will probably get hammered, but...........I just bought this Tag and I love it. I have a rolex sub and love it too. The Tag's finish makes it much more comfotable on my wrist.

Good for you Ed. Rolex will always be gold standard [or in my case ss standard] but it's nice to enjoy other brands and what they have to offer.

That is one sweet piece....I love the Monaco. I fell in love with them since I am a huge Steve McQueen fan and would like to purchase one, but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I like the leather band much better and they have the new ones that are in tribute to the movie LeMans which are cool in my opinion. Very nice watch!

This is my husband's new favorite watch to have! I guess it's good for me since there less expensive than his previous favorite... the Submariner.
I like this Tag too though, it's very handsome looking in real view!

Thanks 5150! I'd love to have the blue croc band w/ deployant clasp for a little variety. Very costly but a great look.

We love all watches here.. Rolex is just our favorite, but most of us have several other good quality time-pieces. Nobody should get hammered for having, or loving TAGs....

Now, maybe Calvin Klein....

You are welcome! Do you mind me asking if you purchased your Tag on-line where you might have gotten it from? I have been looking at them casually over the last year or so and since this Rolex Daytona that I have as a project now to bring back to life it has sparked my interest to really purchase one now!

I purchased it new at an AD while on vacation in Maui a couple of years ago. Very difficult to get a great price at any luxury resort area. Took the advice of a friend who told me to go to happy hour, have a few drinks, then go buy a watch! But it was a great way to celebrate our visit to paradise.
The Monaco gets lots of comments when worn and I like the retro look. Because the case and bracelet have lots of detail it would be hard to polish back to new like a Rolex. However, it's a great watch to wear when looking for something a little different.
