RSC New York - Price to service 14060m - other options?

Hello - i am getting ready to service my 2003 14060M for the first time. So far one of my local AD quoted $710. Anyone know the price from RSC New York? Ok to assume it gets a regular servicing with no additional cost for unexpected repairs / damage. Also, I do not want it polished. Do you get any type of discount for not having the watch polished? (I have kept the case and band in great condition and want to retain all the crisp edges) Any other recommendations for where to get the watch serviced - reputable watchmakers in NJ preferably? Thanks for your help.

JR,
I can't help you with your question but do suggest you take some before pics of your watch just in case. I think that the RSC does the polish at no charge so I would bet that there is no discount for not having it done. Keep us posted.

No discount for not polishing...
Try Rikki in Florida at Time Care inc...He does a nice job, will do what you ask and is less expensive...

Tim makes a very good suggestion, take pictures from every angle before taking it in for service. Watches have been know to come back with new scatches/marks.

You can request no polish fron RSC but there will be no discount. Any additonal repairs will be added on to the price.

Assuming RSC NY has a good reputation I would reccommend dealing with them since it seems you have no personal relationship with any AD. Plus you'll receive a two year warranty and Rolex paper work adding to your Submariners pedigree (imo).

Just my two cents worth.

From I read you can't go with Rikki . I'm lucky I have my AD 2 blocks away with a great watchmaker trained by Rolex. We talk all the time so when my DD needed service I felt like I was in the room the hole time he was working on it.

RSC service

I just recently had my expI overhaued by the NYC RSC. They did an amazing job and i couldn't be happier. Watch came back looking brand "spanking" new and time is dead on by atomic clock. I highly recommend them!

I would use the NY RSC. I have used them since 1969 and have never had a problem.
