14060m warranty card wrong?
I was just looking at the warranty card for my four line, no date Sub, random serial. It lists the style# as 14060 (no M).
Bought from an AD in 2011, engraved rehaut and COSC (four line). Wouldn't that make it an M? Do the AD's fill out the warranty cards, or do they come pre-printed from Rolex? The serial number matches the card, so they didn't give me the wrong warranty card. |

As long as the serial number is correct, that's what counts. The AD's fill out the name of the individual and the date of purchase. The serial numbers are pre-printed from Rolex.

No the cal 3130 was introduced in 2001 thats when they added the M to the 14060.And the so called random serial is just a serial with a extra digit this was introduced latter part of 2010 along with G serials. The Random serial was introduce simple because of Rolex making such a vast huge number of watches over the past 36 years. They simply ran out of single letters and number combinations and over the next 5-7 years there will be far more random serials than any other single letter serial since 1987 when the single letter started. And now all movements are COSC tested but its exactly the same movement than when they were not.
