Help with Greens

Ok as my sig suggests I was looking for a Milgauss but have now seen the anniversary LV? and have a new search.

I have read and read but wow, confused with all the abbreviations and tech talk that goes over my head.

Are there different versions of this watch (not incl the newer hulk?) that everybody is talking about some sort of letter designation? How does this effect what watch to get?

Random serial number is a non issue correct?

I am in SOCAL and I see these prices from $5900-almost $9k and it appears that the accys included are the deciding factor on similar condition watches?

Thanks for the help and sorry if some questions have been asked before.

Thanks
Brian

Does not matter which you get if you really want one. The highly coveted ones are the Y and the early F series while others like the newer versions with the Rolex engraving on the inside. The early versions are more lime green bezels whereas the later ones are a darker green.

Welcome to TRF...
There is much to learn if you want to get in the weeds with the details.
But the first and foremost issue is to pick the one you like to look at - they all keep time the same way

Milgauss with GV means the crystal is green

Submariner with LV means it has a green bezel to commemorate it's 50th anniversary

And if green is the keyword then the "Hulk" ought to really float your boat
