Just wrote an Au Pair recommendation

Anyone else written one of these?

It's amazingly difficult to put to words how a person really is.

The person I wrote it for is an employee and friend, a wonderful girl. Someone I'd like to have as an au pair, but it's not too easy to put to words.

My family had an au pair when I was in my teens, my younger brother was 9 I think, and it was a great experience. Something I will carry on as a tradition if I ever have kids.

You just did...

Write that on her reference and I'm sure she'll get a job.

Well... We did write that, but I'm worried it might come off as a bit cheesy....?

We wrote a lot actually, as there was different questions from the family. We were one of the contacts the "girl" had referenced to the family.

I hope she'll get the "job". She wants it, and she deserves it.

And whisking ones significant other off to Paris for the weekend might come off as a bit cheesy but it sure does get the job done!

You think?

We did get a reply this morning from the family, apparently we did a good job at describing her.
