I have never seen one in the flesh even at an AD, but you could probably have your AD order one in.

Its a standard watch available at any AD. Pink arabic maxi is the name of the dial.

It's a polarizing dial from the negative comments thus far. Remember it is for a 31mm Oyster Perpetual...
I think it shows Rolex can target a burgeoning demographic - creative, inventive thinkers who want a "fun" mechanical luxury watch - this dial is a nice way to capture share. I would think it also plays well with many diverse cultures that Rolex wants to penetrate. To me it says "fun" just like the others that spell fun like the florals, waves, dreams, arabesque, flamme, and crystals dial options...check those out. Remember, "A Crown for Every Achievement"!

The crown at 12 o'clock is almost as easy to see as a cyclops from across the room! The style may not be as identifiable as a Oyster with a fluted bezel, but the Rolex crown certainly makes it easy to know who made this watch.
Agreed it doesn't work for me, but if it gets new Rolex lovers into the fold, then I can see the beauty in it. |
