Daytona Porn - Back from New York RSC (Rolex Service Center) - 5 Weeks Stretch
I finally picked up my P-Series Zenith Daytona today from the RSC in New York City. Have only wore it once since the date of purchase before dropping it off for service. This baby is good as new, new polished case, polished PCL bracelet and decided to keep the original bezel (unpolish-original) and not take Rolex's recommendation for the trade-in. Below are some photos I've taken today. The watch is a complete set with open paper, red tag, green tag, booklets and box (not in photo). This one is the last of the last batch P3-series Daytona with Zenith 4030 movement before the switched to the in-house 4130 movement.

Gotta give it to those Zeniths, they sure have much nicer dials in SS then the 116520:s.
Wish Rolex kept the dials. Stunning watch and NOS-condition as it seems.

I agreed. The sub-dials are perfectly aligned at the 3 and 9 o'clock position for the 4030.

The Daytona will be a special occasional wear. Trying to keep it in good condition especially with the PCL bracelet. I wear my Coke GMT II daily.

Nicely done! The dark background sets off the stainless steel. Enjoy those special occasions when your Daytona is on you wrist. Maybe a trip to a sports car race at Lime Rock Park is in order?
