Finally....Pics of the New GMTc
Well, after almost a week of waiting, my GMT finally came in via USPS registered mail. It actually arrived Christmas Eve, but I haven't had the time to post the pics until now. Anyway, I've been wearing it for past 4 or 5 days, and it feels great.
Enjoy, and Happy New Year. The obligatory wrist shot. Daniel |

What state did the watch come from? How long did it take to get there?

Daniel,
I see you couldn't wait until you got home to open the box. I totally understand. Congrats on a wonderful watch. Enjoy it for many years to come.

beautiful watch and great pics......I can remember the 100metre walk from AD to hotel room to open (give birth to) my Rolex, so I love the car shots....

I stopped at an AD to see one "in the flesh" - very impressive, caused me to drop my misgivings about the maxi-dial. I thought the best thing about the new GMT is the anti-reflective coating on the Cyclops - what a difference it makes! By the way, having opened a new Rolex box in the car myself, I consider wearing a brand new Rolex to be a driving hazard - hard to keep the eyes on the road-but I'd still not likely be able to not wear it if I get another, despite that. Probably would be a good idea to have a designated driver to drive new owners home - maybe AD's should consider offering this service.

That is beautiful. I just got a SS Sub M serial, and was quite torn between the GMT also. Sadly I could only get one...for now!:

Did you spend more time watching your wrist or the road as you were driving home?
