Game of Thrones Addiction

I bought the first two seasons of Game of Thrones, to catch up on all those episodes I missed, and have spent two days, pretty much immersing myself in Game of Thrones lore.

Anyone else around here getting seriously addicted to Game of Thrones?
It has a huge cast, wonderfully complex, interwoven plot lines, and a group of characters who are at once sophisticated, evil, violent, sweet, crazy, and
ocassionially even heroic.

I am waiting to see if the Night Walkers invade and head south, and if Arya
makes it back to reunite with her mother, sister, and Robb Stark?

and of course, will the Mother of Dragons, gain the Iron Throne?

Game of Thrones is absolutely amazing!
I've purchased the books (paperback, English), and I'm now waiting for the new episode which comes tonight

I hope the Stark family gets reunited and kings landing should burn to the ground

The books are fabulous and the HBO series is excellent as well. Read all the books and patiently waiting for the next one to come out!

pay attention to the opening credits each week - the map tells you where everything is in that particular episode.

Most of the 'guys' are a mixture of ruthlessness, intelligence, savy.......
we know that the Lanisters are bad, bad, bad, but so cool you have to kinda admire them too!....many greys in the show.

On who's who, I suggest this for starters:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Thrones

Have fun!

I enjoy it but I do have two minor issues. I wish the character's names were easier to remember, like Fred or Ralph, lol. And I hope it doesn't devolve into where everything is subject to other-worldly powers. That's one of my nitpicks with True Blood. It has gotten to the point where there are only a couple of humans left. Everyone else is either a shape shifter, fairy, werewolf, vampire, witch, or some such thing.

Obviously I haven't read the books or I'd already know just how much dragons and sorcerers overtake the show.

Ralph will rule the Iron Throne in season 4.

I have noticed a pretty substantial reduction in the amount of nekked womens. So...the show isn't quite as good as it once was. LOL!

Kidding!!

Good show, although the last couple of episodes have been a tad slow.

Just need True Blood to come back on, along with Sons of Anarchy (aka Sopranos on motorcycles) and I'll be all set.

yes. last night was fantastic! Daenerys Targaneyn(Emilia Clarke) has her army and all of her dragons, and is ready to invade! Jaime Lannister(Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) has experienced a most nasty turn of events, and 'lost' his right hand, not to mention eating mud, and humiliation. BTW, Emilia Clarke is hotter than a frying pan !

I've been told a million times to watch this show. I need to get on the ball.

Breaking Bad has got to be my favorite drama in recent memory though.

Forget it....Game of Thrones is amazing. Watch 3 episodes(first three) and you are hooked. Could be worse than Watch Fever, a progressive and invariably fatal disease...

I've not been watching. But last week I stumbled on an episode in progress and it grabbed me....I sat and watched the entire thing not knowing any of the plot and was absolutely drawn in.

That was a pretty great ending to the episode...9,000 soldiers and 3 dragons heading towards King's Landing. This is going to be an amazing season!
