Rolex service compared to other brands

I used the RSC here in new york twice in the last couple of months ,first time spent about $1000.00 between service and parts on a 12 year old Explorer ll,watch turned out terrific, recently I spent $80.00 changing bezel insert on GMTll.The quality of service was no different then the time I spent 1000.00
I own a ceramic IWC ceramic Top Gun,discontinued model needed a new band, went to the IWC boutique in New york was told it had to be ordered would take about 4 weeks and why didnt I go to tourneau and order it,after all my watch was 5 years old and i wasnt buying a new one.
I own a speedy pro stopped in omega boutique re band adjustment ,no one in store could doit, just a couple of sales people
I used to own a Girard Perregeaux......Ferrarri watch...stopped in the boutique in new york, inquired about servicing the watch was told that service starts at 1000 .I think some marketing campaigns are simply based on.exspensive and arrogant.I think with rolex you really do get quality for the little thinga as well as the big ticket items for the life of the watch.
